Congress Considers National Energy Legislation
The U.S. is experiencing unprecedented energy development on our public and
private lands. Unchecked and irresponsible energy production is scarring our
precious landscapes with complex webs of industrial infrastructure like wellpads,
compressor stations, roads and pumpjacks. This development is displacing
wildlife and altering rural communities. Scare water source are in danger of
being polluted or destroyed, and private property is being damaged by the
development of federal mineral resources.
